I studied the interactions of nanoplastics with lipids to mimic the effects of plastic pollution in the ocean with analytical chemistry. I blogged about the research with the highest readership of all Providence College bloggers. I also appeared on a college podcast to discuss the research and presented previous work at conferences. I'm also the first author on the paper: Abbott B.M. et al. BBA Biomembranes 1860, 1187-1192 (2018).
